I am traveling to Athens and would like to stop over in Berlin on my way to Stockholm where I reside. What tips can you give me to travel by train from Athens to Berlin? I am planning on departing May 15th for that weekend. Thanks!

I am planning a 20 days trip between 11th May to 31st May….rome to athens route.

ROme -> Florence (will visit Pisa also) -> Venice -> Athens -> santorini
then fly back to rome for flying back home.

I tried railsaver, its states abt buying 4D greece-italy passes (but there is no santorini in the system…so i nv add in)

But am wondering, does the rail pass include the ferry trip also ?

Hey all,
I am about to be studying in Athens, Greece for the next 4 months, and I am wondering what the best forms of travel are between Athens and European countries such as France, Italy, Amsterdam, Poland, Austria, and Germany. Because i would only get to travel on weekends and some weeks, is it best to by a eurorail pass or just go trip by trip? Is flying better in some cases?

Also, how does the ferry system work in terms of international travel?

I will be in Switzerland for 4.5 days this summer, traveling from Salzburg into Italy. What are the places I should definitely hit up? What would your ideal itinerary be? Right now I’m thinking Zurich – Lucerne – Lugano, but I’ve never been, so I welcome thoughts.

I will be in Greece for 4.5 days as well (flying in and out of Athens), and I’ve been told that’s a long time to spend just in Athens. So right now I’m thinking 1 day in Athens, 1 daytrip to Delphi, and then 2 days of island time. What islands are easy to get to from Athens? Are there other areas I should be checking out?
