My itinerary is mostly Western Europe.
I have a lot of questions so please bear with me.

Shall I buy a Eurail pass for the whole 2 months?
I was thinking of booking a flight from Barcelona to Nice.
Should I also book a flight from Paris to Barcelona?
When do you think would be most appropriate to ride overnight trains?

I decided to go to Brussels, Belgium for an afternoon trip out of Paris. I was wondering if anyone with Brussels experience had any must see places to see in the central area, or good restaurant or pub ideas. Looking to just see a few sites, grab a good dinner, and enjoy some Begium beer.

So i have a big trip that i just started planning and saving for. I am going next mid april til mid june. Going to ireland, england, paris, italy, switzerland, denmark, belgium, austria, greece, sweden…2 months… most places i am staying 3-4 days but Italy and Switzerland there are about 4 cities in each country I would like to visit so I am staying in Italy for 9 days and switzerland for 14. Flying in to London, England then want to head to Dublin then Dublin to paris and all around Europe from there. Is the Eurorail 2 month pass the right choice for me?

I’ve chalked out this itinerary for 23 days in july.

It basically includes:

Barcelona- Paris- Bruges- Amsterdam – Prague – Vienna – Salzburg – Milan – Florence – Rome

Will this be too cramped? What tweaks would make it better? And how much should i be looking at in terms of budget?

Hi everyone! I’m planning a solo backpacking trip (my first!) for this December/January. I got a great deal on a flight to Poland so that’s my starting point. I need some pointers on where to go/avoid and also some ideas on how over-crowded my current itinerary is looking. Help?

The dates in question are 10 December 2008 – 25 January 2009 (42 days). I need to be back in Aberdeen, Scotland for the 26th as I have classes, so I need to end up somewhere on the 25th with direct air connections to Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Right now I have:
