Return: January 3rd to 7th.
Airport: Preferably Heathrow but will consider Gatwick or City.

Any last minute price reductions or reasonable price fares out there?

My best friend and I are planning a “End-of-the-World” trip to Europe next December. We plan to visit Amsterdam for sure, and want to have an awesome European Christmas, which probably will include snowboarding for hours upon hours. We have two to three weeks, from about December 8 2012. We want suggestions on places to visit that would fit into our schedule. I have checked out some ski resorts, but have no idea where to go for good snowboarding. We love the outdoors, beer, music, and having a great time.

According to you, which city would be the best to celebrate Christmas in? Berlin, Munich, London, Edinburg or else?

Where is a good city to spend Christmas? Preferably somewhere that is very likely to be snowy, and somewhere that not everything will be closed (restaurant to eat a nice big christmas dinner)…

My partner and I are heading over to Europe for Christmas time and we want to experience our first white christmas!

I am studying abroad in Paris next fall, and when my program ends, I was planning on doing a little traveling: Rome from December 18-23 (prices for hostels seem to go up Christmas Eve-New Years), and Prague December 24-26. I’ve heard Prague is magical in December, but I’m worried that things will be closed for the Christmas holiday. From the brief research I’ve done, it looks like everything will be closed on Christmas Eve, but most tourist attractions will be open on the 25th and 26th. Any advice? Should I plan to travel on the 24th and just relax and settle in?

Hi, I’m going to be backpacking around Europe for three months and by the looks of it I’m going to be in Spain on Christmas/NYE. I’m a solo first time traveler, so I was wondering if anyone has some tips on which city to try and end up in during this period – I’m looking for some good nightlife and culture to try and avoid feeling lonely, haha.

Has anyone been to Spain during the winter holidays (Christmas, New Years)? I’ll be there at the end of the year and I’m curious as to any special events, sight closures/limitations, etc.
