Discover Germany On Line (Video + Stills)
My film “Septemberfest” presents all of Germany’s best known places: Frankfurt’s old town, a Rhine River cruise, Cologne’s Cathedral, the Hamburg red-light district, Berlin (The Wall, and other changes since 1990), lovely Dresden, Nuremberg, the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, Munich (glockenspiel, beer hall, and palaces), plus King Ludwig II’s most famous castle.

Eastern Europe, December 2008-January 2009
Hi everyone! I’m planning a solo backpacking trip (my first!) for this December/January. I got a great deal on a flight to Poland so that’s my starting point. I need some pointers on where to go/avoid and also some ideas on how over-crowded my current itinerary is looking. Help?
The dates in question are 10 December 2008 – 25 January 2009 (42 days). I need to be back in Aberdeen, Scotland for the 26th as I have classes, so I need to end up somewhere on the 25th with direct air connections to Edinburgh or Glasgow.
Right now I have:
10/12 thru 11/12 – Wroclaw, Poland

Faces of Oktoberfest 2008 (26 pics)
Photos were taken from the Trachten- und Schützenzug Parade on the second day of Oktoberfest. About 9000 people joined the parade. They are groups representing the smal communities from all around Bavaria State, as well as some guests from other parts of Europe. Here are only a small number of selected photos from the 2 hour + parade. I’m impressed by the interesting traditional culture of Bavaria. enjoy!

Good stops on the way
Me and a group of friends are planning a euro trip, we picked the country’s we want to see they are:Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, France and possibly Egypt. What are some of your favorite city’s/places in these country’s.
2009 Europe Trip
2 friends and I are planning about a 2 month backpacking trip around Europe for May-Julyish. Our list of countries we’re going to is as follows:
England, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain and France. Ireland and Scotland are also a possibility if time permits to go between England and Netherlands, if we did so we wouldn’t dedicate quite as much time to those as the other countries on our list.
We anticipate starting in London, England and working our way around in a circle from there and ending up in Paris, France. The cities we have decided we absolutely must go to are:

I will make a flag to place on the table with the Eurotrip logo (somewhere in the back in the non-reservation section). Otherwise send me a PM and I will give you my mobile number. My train from Vienna arrives at 10:30am so if it is delayed, I will be a few minutes late.
What time are you getting to München Sunskin?
Everyone else please RSVP here so that I can get a rough head count!
