The College Eurotrip I never took... until now
Travelogue Entry in Cannes, France
Hi! My boyfriend and I are headed to Europe this summer for a wedding in Tours (apparently 2h from Paris). Neither of us has been before, so I feel a little lost trying to plan things. We’ll be gone for about 10 days (haven’t booked flights yet). We’ll probably fly into London, where our friend lives, then go to Tours for Fri-Sun. I’m looking for advice on spending time exporing France (I’d like to see Paris, but other than that I don’t really know much about the other places) versus trying to take in other countries. I’d love to see Venice and/or Rome.
I live in Portland, Oregon and I am planning a trip to Bosnia then Italy, unfortunately for the last week of June through the 2nd week in July, the most expensive time to travel. I love the hunt for great deals on airfare and good places to stay and all of that but I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. Hopefully this question makes sense to someone.
I know that it is relatively inexpensive to fly within Europe so I’ve been looking at a wide variety of cities. I can find some decent prices to the east coast and I know leaving from there may save me some money.
Travelogue Entry in Cluj-Napoca, Romania
My film “Gondola With the Wind” can be seen on the web if you have a high speed internet connection. The movie begins in Italy with Rome, Pisa, Florence, and Venice. It then features Vienna (Austria), glorious Prague (Czech Republic), Poland (including Warsaw & Auschwitz), Ukraine, and Budapest (Hungary).
This is a free, non-commercial, streaming video on the Windows Media Player. No ads and no strings attached. I still sell nothing.
Any hotel suggestions in the Montalcino, Italy area?
I am graduating from a 4 year university and some of my friends and myself wanted to take a Eurotrip from late March (26th) to mid April (11-15th). I wanted to see if someone can help us with some information. We want to land in London and leave from Athens or Rome.
How much on average the ticket price is during that time?
What are the best website to look for deals?
Are the fare going to get cheaper?
What is the best and cheapest way of transportation within European countries ie. England, France, Italy, Rome, Amsterdam, Prague, and Athens.
I’m planning an off season trip to Europe next month and am wondering if a hostel would be good for me. I’m 40 years old, young at heart and ready to have a great time in Amsterdam but wondering am I too old for staying in hostels?
I’d stay in hotels but hostels are better for my budget. Also not sure but am I getting this right that private rooms can be had for only $10-15 per night? How do they do this?
Hey all! So my wife and I are going to travel around Italy from March 25th to April 5th of this year.
This summer (May 28-June 17) myself and two friends will be traveling to Lisbon, Barcelona, Paris, Venice, Florence, Rome, and Athens. Our flights to and from are already booked and now I’m struggling to find the best way to get around within the countries. I think we are going to fly from Rome to Athens just to save time/energy getting there by rail. I’ve been looking at railpass but I’m not sure how much it is really going to save me.I was hoping to take night trains when possible.
