So I’ve been trying to book tickets on Thalys for September 4th, 2008, from Amsterdam Centraal to Paris Nord. I’m purchasing from the states so I tried the home print and then pincode method’s. Everytime I went through to the payment and tried to process the order, I got this message (Translated by Yahoo’s Babelfish):

Hey everyone I’m visiting Europe in July and I’m so confused as to which rail pass I need!!! Please help…
5-8 London
8-11 Paris
11- 13 Berlin
13-15 Prague
15-18 Milan

I am flying into Copenhagen on June 16th, and my wife and I want to leave on the overnight train to Cologne on the evening of the 17th. I have read that reservations are often required for overnight trains, but I don’t know how far in advance they need to be made. Should I reserve my overnight train (I have a Eurail Pass) online now, or would I be able to wait until I get to Copenhagen and do it right at the station? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am traveling through Europe her soon. I found that the cheapest flights from America to Dublin. I am going to bu a Eurail pass also. So my question is if I fly to Dublin, then stay for a couple days, how to I get to a city such as Amsterdam? I saw that the train is in Ireland but, do I need to pay extra to take a ferry to the closest city on the mainland that has the Eurail? How much would that cost?

I’m planning to travel around europe for a month starting June 29th and still haven’t arranged any transport. I was wondering if it would be worth me getting a rail pass, or buying tickets individually as I go along. I can’t seem to find pricing for the latter option. I’m unable to use Eurail because I’m an EU citizen, but I think inter-rail is similar to it. My itinerary is as follows:

Paris – Jun 29, 30, Jul 1, 2
Berlin – 3, 4, 5, 6
Prague – 7, 8, 9, 10
Vienna – 11, 12, 13, 14
Munich – 15, 16, 17
Venice – 18, 19, 20
Florence – 21, 22, 23, 24
Rome – 25, 26, 27, 28
