My film “Draculas Neighborhood” presents Balkan highlights from Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, and Slovenia.

It includes dictator Ceausescu’s massive palace, fortified churches and the legend of Dracula, Orthodox Church artistic splendor, a Thracian tomb, folk dancing, Belgrade’s citadel, the destruction of Yugoslavia by Milosevic, Sarajevo’s recovery from civil war, and its splendid old town, Mostar’s landmark bridge, the walled city of Dubrovnik, Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, the Postojna Cave, and scenic Lake Bled.

I would like some info about traveling Eastern Europe. Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Serbia. Anyone share experiences there and or tips about the places? More towards Kiev, Odessa, L´viv (Ukraine).. Sofia, Varna, Burgas (Bulgaria).. Sighisoara, Bucharest, Timisoara, Transylvania (Romania). I am considering going there this summer and am interested in what people have to say.

I will be traveling in the beginning of June. I am going from Krakow to the Transylvania region in Romania. I would like to stop in the High Tatras for a few days. Can anyone help me with the best way to get from one place to another. I cannot seem to find a direct route. Is renting a car a realistic option? Any other info would also be helpful. Thanks

Hello Everyone

I’m planning my first trip to Europe arriving July 6th to Salzburg, being in Berlin by the 7th of August. The cities that I want to see are: Vienna, Venice, Rome, Bucharest, Budapest, Bratislava, Krakow, Warsaw, Prague, and Munich (I would like to go Munich to Berlin via Frankfurt). I feel totally daunted by what route would make the most sense.
