Skiing

I’m writting just to share my experience.
Last week I returned from my trip to France, Nice. We visited the skiing resort Isola which is lacated 90 km from Nice. We had a great time there and we decided to go there someday again.

Just in the middle of planning my first Europe trip.

Was hoping to do some skiing in Switzerland while i’m there in March 2010. How’s the snow fall around that time of year? Can anyone recommend some cheaper places to stay etc.

Club Med Wengen seems to be a decent choice so far – basic but food etc included.

I’ll be doing a bit of travelling around Europe in a few months and hope to take in a bit of skiing along the way. What countries do you think provide the best skiing and about when does the skiing season start. I’ll be travelling mid-October. Is this too early for skiing? I plan to take in Italy on my trip but hope to visit both Austria and France too. Has anyone an opinion on the best ski resorts, I’m a novice skier. I’d like to ski at least once on my trip. I’ll be travelling for about 4 weeks which will take me into mid-November.
