Spain to Mykonos.. Help anyone?
Hi..
I desperately need to know the best and cost efficient way to get to mykonos from Spain.
I will be attending Benicassim Festival in July and i have friends that will be in Mykonos in August.
Anyone know the best way from Spain to mykonos that wont cost an arm and a leg, and bypassing some cool places in europe?
Thanks for the help guys.
night train Paris-Munich
Hey I was wondering if anyone had traveled from Paris to Munich. I was looking into taking a night train, but was wondering if it was worth getting the sleeping room or not. I don’t have any train travel experience in Europe so I don’t know what to expect with this.
Thanks
Eurail Pass and Croatian Railways Confusion
Heloo
My friend and I bought a 5 day select Eurail pass. On April 8th, we are planning on leaving Venice Italy at 9:20PM and arrive in Zagreb at 4:18AM on the 9th. From Zagreb we want to get to Split, and we’re planning on catching another train from Zagreb to Split. The eurail map shows a definite connection from Zagreb to Split. But in timetables, there is nothing listed for Zagreb to Split. So I am assuming I am supposed to book this train ticket on the Croatian Railways website?
Amsterdam to Munich to Interlaken
All,
I assume that rail would be the best way to get from Amsterdam to Munich (for budget travelers), and then from Munich to Interlaken. Is there anything specifically to note when traveling by rail — should we make sure to take the night train or stop in any specific cities (for a brief period)? We will be in Amsterdam for 3 nights, Munich for 3/4 nights, and Interlaken for 3 nights.
Thanks in advance for the advice — trying to nail down this leg of our itinerary as we are going in June-July ’09, and really excited about Munich and Interlaken.
Cheers!
Germant to Italy Travel
So a friend and I are planning on flying into Munich on March 27th and flying out on April 5th. During that time we’d like to go to Florence and possibly Rome. I am having a hard time figuring out what is the most cost effective route to take transportation wise. Plane tickets from Germany to Italy aren’t too bad. It seems a waste to get a EuroPass, renting a car isn’t too bad either but from what I’ve read it’s a pain to deal with parking and map reading, road rules, etc. So…any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Best Travel Options for Study Abroad student in Athens
Hey all,
I am about to be studying in Athens, Greece for the next 4 months, and I am wondering what the best forms of travel are between Athens and European countries such as France, Italy, Amsterdam, Poland, Austria, and Germany. Because i would only get to travel on weekends and some weeks, is it best to by a eurorail pass or just go trip by trip? Is flying better in some cases?
Also, how does the ferry system work in terms of international travel?
Thanks so much!

Problem with Ticket Reservations. HELP!!!
So I’ve been trying to book tickets on Thalys for September 4th, 2008, from Amsterdam Centraal to Paris Nord. I’m purchasing from the states so I tried the home print and then pincode method’s. Everytime I went through to the payment and tried to process the order, I got this message (Translated by Yahoo’s Babelfish):
Dublin to amsterdam
I am traveling through Europe her soon. I found that the cheapest flights from America to Dublin. I am going to bu a Eurail pass also. So my question is if I fly to Dublin, then stay for a couple days, how to I get to a city such as Amsterdam? I saw that the train is in Ireland but, do I need to pay extra to take a ferry to the closest city on the mainland that has the Eurail? How much would that cost?
