Help! Trying to figure out cheapest, most efficent way to travel in Europe
I am planning a 7 country trip May 4-27th. I need advice on the cheapest and most efficient way to travel between these countries.
Traveling around Italy via trains....
Hey all! So my wife and I are going to travel around Italy from March 25th to April 5th of this year.
Barcelona --> Madrid
Hi fellow travelers,
Heading to Barcelona & Madrid in a few months and heard that train is the best form of commute. I went onto the Renfe website & found a web deal of 45 Euros in the Turista section of the train. It seems too good to be true (maybe its my jaded NYC ideology that is holding me back from purchasing the tics right away). What is the difference between the Tarifa General, the Web & Estrella tics? Can I trust that if I buy the tickets so far in advance that they will still be valid in early April? Also, there are multiple stations listed in Barcelona.
Estimated amount of money.
I am trying to figure out how much it is going to cost me for the trains in Europe. I will need at least 1 ticket to each of these cities starting in London. Then to Either Amsterdam, Paris, Venice, and Rome. I want to know the amounts for these and whats the cheapest and fasted way to get to these cities. Also, I would like to know about much for general transportation in these cities for lets say 3 to 4 days each. Thanks for the help.
More questions about DB Bahn
I’m happy to have found this site and am desperately looking for some informed assistance.
I’m trying to do my homework for a trip next summer to Europe. My wife and I will have Eurail Passes and I’m trying to piece together our train travel between a few destinations. Here’s my situation: I am using DB Bahn to work out the trip from Brussels to Prague with as few fees as possible.
Cheapest way from Brugee/Brussels to Interlaken... leaving in about a little over a week!!
Trying to get from Bruges to Interlaken in the fastest, cheapest, and most efficient way. Been looking into train travel, and have been quite confused by the variety of apparent possibility. Also been going through the flight websites, and haven’t found anything even remotely in my range. Any advice on the best way to do it by train, or perhaps a website or company to use for flight travel, would be really really helpful. I’m leaving for Belgium next monday, and want to head to Interlaken by saturday (probably take a night train friday).
Edinburgh to Oban?
I need help figuring out the best way to get to Oban from Edinburgh and then from Oban to Glasgow. Please help! Thanks!
best way from Naples to Venice
What do you think is the most efficient way to get from Naples to Venice PER experience? The trains seem to take in average 8 hours. some less some more. My friend&I are on a budget, so when I saw that with easy jet we could fly from Naples to Venice for 24E, it seemed like a good idea. But to be honest, I’m looking to know if I’d waste just as much time GETTING to the airport, boarding, delays, getting from the airport in venice…
I am just looking to hear people’s experiences. What would you say is the best way?
