Usually no problem to buy a train ticket same day. The Thalys tickets require a reservation, so you’ll probably need to buy the ticket at least an hour before departure — 2 hours would be better.

The train won’t be a problem probably, with Eurolines it depends if it’s high season (summer or around christmas/new years) or not, but in any case I wouldn’t count on it too much.
