Am deciding between the above-named places, would like to get some of your
suggestions. Thanks in advance.
You’ve got to have picked one of the most difficult choices for me. I love both places. I’d probably pick Lake Bled, just because it’s probably easier to get to Venice — thus it will be easier to fit Venice into your next trip.
Are you into architecture/history/art (Venice) or spectacular scenery (Lake Bled)?
I’m travelling to other parts of Europe such as Berlin, Rome & Paris too so I suppose the spectacular scenary at Lake Bled would be a nice change from all the sightseeing I’ll be getting?
Yeah, it’s good to break up stretches of city-city-city-city… with smaller towns and outdoorsy places. Trust me, it preserves my own fragile sanity
Venice is so unique but its volume of tourists at any time of the year (let alone spring/summer) make it difficult to enjoy. Ljubljana did not seem to have any thrill on me but Lake Bled and its surroundings (you can book an adventure trip to the surrounding areas, like the alps, while in Bled) is a place I will never forget
hey guys, thanks for sharing. I’ll be heading to Bled soon!
