Hey everyone,
My girlfriend and I are going to Europe the first 2 weeks in June.  We’re flying in and out of Dublin to save money (and because I’m Irish).  We’ll spend four days there, then four more days each in Madrid and Rome before flying back to Dublin and then home.

I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for places to see in those areas.  We’re both 22 years old, semi-broke and we really want to experience local culture and feel.  We aren’t big on clubs and stuff like that, but historical sights and beautiful country are always a plus.

In addition to that, I was wondering if you thought it would be best for us to book hostels ahead of time, or to travel around in the areas and just find hostels as we go?  Thanks for any advice.

you could fill up 4 days in Rome without going anywhere else quite easily
maybe day trip Venice or Cinque Terre

I am leaving from Palo Alto with $123 for 22 days
