Hello everyone

I have 2 weeks vacation in July Smile and I would like to do one of those famous “Europe Trip” everyone does. The things is I’m 26 and I’ll be spending my vacation ALONE and this will be my first time.

I will be leaving from Milan (Italy). I would like to visit Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen.
Do you recommend this itinerary? Which way should the vacation start? I mean 3 main cities in 2 weeks. I would like to spend the days seeing the cities important landmarks and the rest nature , nature and nature

Recommendations on traveling, Flying or Train?? Here we have the budget topic. What is the cheap way and also that can save time. I don’t want to spend hours in air ports.

Please let me know your ideas and any other type of tips.

Thank you.

I’d look into the ferry between Helsinki and Stockholm. I think it’s relatively inexpensive and a nice trip.

I’ve checked the ferry but it’s a bit expensive than flying.

Is it easy cheap going from/to the air port in stockholm and helsinki? Bus or train?

thank you.

FinnAir express bus from Airport to train station in Helsinki was € 8 (each way) a few years ago. It takes about 30 minutes. Regular city bus is a bit cheaper and most routes take about 45 minutes. I think cab ride is € 45 to 50.

Overnight ferry is more expensive than I thought, but certain days are cheaper and 2 or more of you traveling together and sharing a cabin on overnight ferry can be fairly reasonable when compared with a night’s lodging cost. Silja line is usually cheaper than others. If you’re planning on visiting Turku, Finland, the ferry from there to Stockholm can be considerably cheaper.
