I was wandering, could someone recommend me some places to go?

I love mountains, lakes and other scenery. Natural beauty rather than man made, though I want to see some man made things.

Slovenia & Amsterdam are the only places I NEED on the list. I want Slovenia and my friend wants Amsterdam.

I look forward to hearing from people

Slovenia’s Julien Alps are picture postcard pretty — like the picturesque scenery in Switzerland and Austria. We loved driving and hiking around. If you’re interested in rugged mountains, the High Tatras between Poland and Slovakia (more accessible from Slovakia, I think) are a great choice.
