$468 NYC to Barcelona early august
Sun, 03/25/2007 - 23:32
I was playing around with ITA and found $468 r/t tax incl. from NYC to Barcelona via Paris around early August. Air France is the carrier. I don’t know if its a limited deal or something but it’s certainly very cheap. If I had the money I would’ve bought the ticket already!!!

Do you think that price is going to last for a while? I dont have that money to pay for it. But I will have it later.
No, I don’t think that fare will last. If you have a credit card, you should book it now. That would be a good fare in low-season, but for peak season (August) normally it would be 2-3x as much. I see it direct from www.airfrance.com at $468.73. Absolutely brilliant fare. Thanks for the tip. Fares this cheap are very unusual for peak-season travel.

Damn, I wish i was good at finding cheap fares…
Bath, Haltwhistle, London, Füssen, Freiburg, Stuttgart, Speyer, Nördlingen, Salzburg, Hallstatt, Salzburg, Rome, Ostia Antica, Athens, Delphi, Athens
You can be – it just takes a level of interest bordering on obsession
Reading this site and FlyerTalk.com will help.
Any chance of this rate applying to a one-way, you think? I’ll be coming BACK to the states in early August… don’t necessarily care where I leave FROM.

Yes, I am totally obsessed. [

Are you in the US now? Flying to Europe on a one-way ticket is a good way to get yourself in trouble at immigration in your arrival country. What itinerary are you trying to arrange?
Well I was thinking about the “open jaw” mode… I’m thinking I’ll be flying in to Stockholm, but if I could leave from Germany or France, it’d be a little more convenient, esp if the ticket was 200something bucks

Actually, it is also the same price for Madrid.
Those fares are still there this morning. WOW.
I would get it now!
I wish I had found that price. I payed $620 for mid April…[&o]
Thanks for posting this. It is much cheaper than anything I could find out of Columbus, Ohio. I booked an open jaw with Air France August 29 from JFK to MAD / September 9 from BCN to JFK for $468.73 all tax included. Now I just need to find a cheap non stop round trip from CMH to JFK. That should be able to be done for about $100.00 with Jet Blue or Delta.
Now I wonder if it’s a good time to visit Spain in August? I thought southern europeans tend to have their vacation in August, so I guess restaurants and shops are closed and beaches are packed.
