Please check out my itinerary – Flying into Paris on 30th April, flying out about 6 weeks later, setting up a few couch surfs along the way, my main question is regarding transport!! The application on this is limited to rail or air, and is limited to 16 cities…another site suggested a eurail 4 country austria/italy/france/germany 8 day pass and then a whole lot of city to city tickets..
Anyone have any better suggestions?

Also, any must see things that people would recommend?
The plan is to pretty much not sleep for 6 weeks, see as much as possible – mainly interested in History/architecture/natural wonders.
