By train what is the best way to get to Interlaken from Amsterdam?

Amsterdam to Interlaken is a minimum of 9 hours. Best route, from a rail standpoint, is via Basel, Switzerland. Use the German rail website http://reiseauskunft… for train schedules anywhere in Europe.

I am planning on buying a global eurail pass. Traveling threw 5 countries. Is this still the fastest route?

Whether or not you buy a rail pass has nothing to do with the speed of the train…..

I’d be looking for a flight for this leg of your trip.
