Don had something really good, and I used it, but then I ended up with a brand new computer.

Both are free downloads. I’ve been using them for over a year now with no problems. Also, if you’re using Opera web browser, you can go Tools—> Delete Private Data, but CCleaner does all of that and more.

Think the main question here is… what kind of information do you want to delete?
Addware/spyware/unused files/etc

That said, Don made good suggestions. For Spyware I would add Spybot Search and Destroy as both programs seem to clean up some spyware that the other leaves.

I’m looking for commands to delete information from windows.  For example, autocomplete information that is stored.  I don’t want any software for that because there should be a way to do this with a windows command.

I have spybot and adaware for the spyware.  Primarily, I want to delete my personal info from computers I use that are not mine.

Go to “tools” or “control panel” (for windows xp, internet explorer 7 for sure) click on ‘internet options”, click the “delete” button under “history” and then you will have 5 different options to delete cookies, autocomplete, forms, etc;. Hope this helps.
 

Already know that one.  It’s not very efficient.  It leaves info in the dns cache. 

I want to delete autocomplete and other info that shows where I’ve been online.
