I’m planning to end my exchange year in Belgium with an Eurotrip, before going back to my home country, Brazil. Although, I don’t know what to do with all my luggage from the whole exchange year.
I was planning on shipping it back earlier and keeping only the essential stuff for the trip.
Has anyone done this before? Shipping luggage? Any idea of prices or companies?
thanks a lot

Leticia,
One thing you can do, if you’re up for it, is leave your extra luggage with a friend that you made in the city where you studied, and then return to retrieve your things at the end of your backpacking tour.

shipping luggage, i think its expensive, not sure though. better try contacting some shipping companies for you to have an ideas
depending on how long you want to travel for, you could look into locker storage. I don’t know about in Belgium, but some cities have storage at stations or companies who store items while you are away. From experience in Canada, some companies (in this case One-Stop-Storage) will store your items for as short or as long as you want. I stored all of my uni luggage for 4 months for $167 as I didn’t want to take it with me.
