Bands to see Live in 2009?
Sun, 12/21/2008 - 21:18
I am going in May and I was just wondering who was touring Europe?
Or what are some good sites I can check out that will let me know detailed info about Bands touring Europe in 2009.
Or anything along these lines at all!
Thanks guys!
I am leaving from Ottawa with $2300 for 15 days

I’ve never found the perfect site for bands touring Europe.
Here is a concert ticket site that lists several bands such as the Killers, Pink etc

There’s What’s On When, but it’s more for festivals.
I see Bob Dylan will be touring there in the spring. Jackson Browne, too.
But there are bands other than dinosaur types that will be touring.
If you have iTunes, there’s a great little free app called iConcertCal — You enter a city, and it shows you any band in your itunes library that’s playing that city in a particular month on a nifty calendar. Very cool.

Wow that is a neat feature of Itunes but I no longer have that on my computer.

Here’s a couple decent sites which should help you out: www.virtualfestivals… and www.pollstar.com
Thanks, all these links seem to be helping quite a bit!

One of my FAVORITE bands, Beirut, just added some dates in Europe. They play Paris the day after we leave! I am going to try to get tickets to their show in Brussels.
