G’Day
Any beer fest freaks been to the beer festival in Erlangen that’s held around May/June every year? That’s the time I’m planning my Eurotrip and am wondering how it compares to Oktoberfest, its more popular “cousin”.  I’ve read that because The Berg attracts less foregin toursits that it’s more of a true Bavarian experience…any thoughts would be great.
Thanks!!

I am leaving from Australia via one week in Malaysia with $10000 for 94 days

There are most definitely better BEER fests out there, but there is only one Oktoberfest. It is the crowds, lines, and mayhem which make the Münchener Oktoberfest crazy and unique.

So it depends really on personal taste.
