My wife and I shopped for Hiking boots for a month and finally spent a small fortune on our hikers.

We both found that Solomon made the best fitting hikers on the market. My boots were called Authentic 7 on clearance for $99 with REI. My wife paid full price of $175 for a newer style ( I think Authentic 6Gx )from a local adventure sports store.

I was curious what other people are wearing for hiking mountain regions. We are going to the Swiss Alps in early May. What’s the best hikers for under $125, between $125 – $200, and over $200.
