Just checked ITA for the millionth time this year and voila, I found something! I checked BOS to CDG and found fares on all different dates in Jul/Aug in the low $800s. Appears to be on several airlines, including AA, BA, Iberia, (appear to be the same flight) direct flights. ZRH comes up as a similar price. Hope this helps someone! I’ve been looking for over 3 months and this is BY FAR the best deal I have seen. I’ve been waiting for it to drop below $1000 and this is the first I have seen. I better solidify my itinerary NOW if I want to go this summer.

Nice fare for peak season! Congrats on snagging that, and thanks for letting us know. I also noticed a drop ~ $200 the past few days on a lot of summer transatlantic routes. Doubt it will last much longer….

I’M GOING TO EUROPE!!! FINALLY, AFTER 9 YEARS! Did everyone hear me? Smile Still can’t believe it. Ending up booking BOS-CDG and ZRH-BOS for $824 each, a great deal for July 2012. Today the fare is $1169. Did you know you can put reservations on hold with AA until 11:59pm? I actually purchased when the fare was gone, but it was honored when I paid to have the reservation ticketed. Good to know, these fares go so fast, it’s nice to have a few hours to think about it.
