I am trying to get to Buenos Aires this winter for a couple of weeks between christmas and new years. I’ll be flying from nyc and I’ve been searching for a ticket for the past few weeks and have found nothing under $1400 USD and it just keeps going up. I didn’t expect the prices to be so high since it’s such a popular route. Llast year I flew from nyc to santiago, chile around the same dates and bought it around this time last year and paid about $1200, and that is a less popular route so I expected the flight to Buenos Aires to be less than that. Any advice on how to get a cheaper ticket? Does anyone know what the average cost usually is?
