I will be travelling in may to europe and my itinerary is:
munich-salzburg-vienna-budapest-prague-munich.
I heard that getting the tickets at the train stations are much cheaper? Select 4 pass in 5 days cost about 350 euro at my country. I need advice…thanks

1. I think a railpass will save money compared to regular fares (what you’d pay at the train station) for this itinerary.
2. If you’re willing and able to search out special fares on-line and pay for non-refundable tickets (exact dates and times) up to 60 days in advance you might get the tickets cheaper than a railpass. You’ll need to search (and book the cheapest you find) on each country’s national rail system website. The links are in the “rail links” sticky on this forum or under “transportation” on the “travel tips” tab.
