Camping Budapest
Mon, 06/27/2005 - 18:01
Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me, I have tried searching through all the different threads but cant find anything about camping in Budapest, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good or worthwhile campsites in this area. Any help would be much appreciated.
I don’t know if there is anything specific about budapest, but try this site and see what you find.

I stayed at Haller Camping in 2001. I don’t remember the exact adress, but I’m sure google will come up with something. It was near a metro stop, and surprisingly quiet considering the number of tourists in Budapest.
In 1995 I stayed at a large campsite in Szentrendre just outside of Budapest, you can get there by suburban train. It had a swimming pool and everything, but of course it was also very crowded, and I heard some stories of theft.
