just wondering what weight tent most people have carried around with them.looked at min the other night and it weighs 2.65kg….but most of the ones at work weigh about that much as well Frown

Mine is exact same weight as yours and carried it around Europe for 3 months with no problems. Unlike some backpackers I don’t tote my packback around everywhere I go. Leave your big pack and tent in your hotel (or check it at the hostel office) and spend the day with just a day back. I travel with a partner so we usually take turns with the tent or split it up (one carries poles and pegs, other carries tent)
