Hi,

Is it a good idea to bring Cayenne pepper with all around Europe? Is it legal while passing customs or aboard a plane?

Thanks a lot.

As in pepper spray? Check the TSA website for current information as this could easily have changed. In the past, a 4 oz spray was allowed in checked luggage as long as it was not over 2% tear gas. No self defense sprays were allowed in carry-on.

As for customs, I don’t know of anyplace to find the answer except to check the weapons laws in each of the countries you’re traveling in.

Why on earth would you want to take pepper spray to Europe?
