Please advice on the best way of transportation from London to Brussels. Links to travel sites or train services in between the cities would be good enough.
Departure either this week or next week. It will be a same day trip going around 8 am and returning around 8 pm.
Client is flexible on the day of meeting. I am told the cheapest day to travel is from Tue to Thurs, is that a true statement?

I’ve not travelled directly between London and Brussels yet, but I think I’d take Eurostar (train). They’ve got outbound from St. Pancreas, or, um… St. Pancras 08:05 Wed. Jun. 25, arriving Midi 10:56 (1hr, 51min); return from Midi same date 21:02, arrive St. Pancreas 22:04 (2hr, 2mins) for £124 total.
Flights that work with your schedule look very expensive for that date. I checked ITA and Skyscanner.
By the time you get to Heathrow, check in, get through security, take the flight, get out of the airport and into Brussels… the train would have had you there probably 1-1.5 hour earlier… and a lot more comfortably (and much cheaper in this case).
Thank you Don,
I am already in London now and it has taken about a week to set myself up with Internet and telephone up and running.
I am planning to do the inland leg from here itself,
Is Eurostar the only option that I have? I am on their website and I am trying to figure out how to book,
Yes, some of the special fares are only available on those days. Trains in the middle of the day are usually cheaper, but that won’t work for you.
Dear Old Lady,
Getting the 99$ fare on europe by air and getting it honored on EuroStar is excellant, How do I find out more information on it?
Do I need to call Eurostar to accept it?
I am on the europeby air website and I do not see anything on it, can you please help.
The $99 flight pass may not be honored on EuroStar for the specific times you want — and it will be $99 each way. I tried Wednesday of next week on the Europebyair regular search engine and got a 6:00 AM departure with a 9:00 PM return on EuroStar that honor the passes, plus some flights that were only slightly more expensive — but the return flights were all in the afternoon instead of evening.
How did you manage to check the timings out? Can you please advice,
Perhaps there is other times. It seems to me 200 USD is the cheapest I can get.
I just filled in the date on the flight search to the left of this page.

I used the flight passes once on Air Croatia and it worked pretty well for me. I kind of expected a problem or confusion at the airport because specific staff members weren’t familiar with the passes, but there were no problems and the flight pass was obviously a common thing on Air Croatia. I bought the passes on line and the Europebyair people actually called me because there was confusion about a date.
I see, thank you, let me check
Final ticket price came to 87 GBP – dept and return on the same day.
Looks like a pretty good price for “peak time” departure and return. Glad it worked out for you.
Yes, it did,
Last time I was in Brussels was 10 years ago, so it was kind of going down memory lane. Its boring as I don’t have any friends but keeps me busy with work.
