I recently read (but can’t remember on what airline’s site) that Europe has lessened its restrictions on carryon liquids. Can anyone confirm/ deny this? I know the US still requires 3 oz bottles in a 1 quart bag.

I don’t want to check my bag at all once I’m there, but this liquid issue might be a problem.

I’d be interested in hearing more about this, myself.
Supposedly, the 3-1-1 has gained international acceptance.
As far as I can see, the US TSA restrictions look the same, but last week I flew to and from SFO with my little 3 oz bottles consolidated in the clear quart bag and nobody took them out of my carry-on, let alone inspected them.
