    Just wondering… i plan on going to europe this summer… and i was wondering where are the best places to get some cheap but good tasting beer

Since the trip is going to cost enough already i’m just trying to save a few bucks.

Beer is served at pubs, restaurants, hotels, etc.  on a mostly LOCALIZED brewing level in many Euopean countries.  It costs less in places like:  Lithuania, Poland, Russia, etc.  Those countries have excellent Porters & Stout’s.

Generally… It’s cheapest bought from supermarkets and corner shops. It’s usually most expensive in restaurants, and tourist-area pubs; less-expensive in pubs and bars away from touristed areas.

Agreed.  If you want cheep beer, buy it at the supermarket.  Also, the local stuff will always be cheaper than the imports.
