Hi, I read somewhere that when you’re going to Europe and counting on your ATM card that you should make sure you’re on the Cirris (sp?) network. Well of course, my card is a Plus card! My luck stinks. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has ever encountered any problems with this type of debit card.

Also… what do you do if your debit card won’t work I’m taking a bit of cash to start out, some traveller’s cheques, and my debit and credit cards. I don’t have enough money left on my creditcard to count on it as a backup plan.

I’m taking about $1000 Canadian. Can some experienced wise traveller divide this up for me? Like how much in cash, t. cheques, in the bank etc…?

Thanks!
