I edited a post form alvinaavis in transit, by removing the link — however I couldn’t remove the link in the signature line, which is what’s really contrary to our advertising policy. The guy’s post in favorite places has some excellent information, except for the signature line link……
I sent a message to them regarding the no spam policy.
Eat the food, use the wrong verbs, and end up getting charged double.

He’s re-posted the whole thing in transit, so I don’t think he got the point about not advertising. Should I delete the whole post?
He’s deleted. You can ban the user if you want to. Obviously not compliant.

I just deleted another post from this guy in transit. Editing doesn’t remove the signature line so I ended up deleting the entire post.
Do you guys think we should ban him?

Well, he doesn’t seem to “get it” about the advertising policy, but some of his posts have had excellent, 1st hand, information in them, so it seems a shame to ban him. Is there a way to block his signature link?
I don’t think so. I’ll give him one more warning.

Figured out how to remove his signature. I did that and sent him a warning.

That’s at least his second warning. I mentioned earlier that there is a no spam policy and the signature would need to be changed.
