You don’t have to be a student to use Council, and the fares for adults are sometmes only a small difference from the student and youth fares.

I just got a one-way to Frankfurt from Detroit for $340 on United, out of Council. This was an adult fare. The student fare was $333. The fly date is late April.

I had previously checked the usual suspects (expedia, etc.) and one-way fares were at least $800.

I had checked the RT fares and they were quite good too, but I can’t remember the exact prices.

So the FYI is: Try Council’s website to check some fares even if you aren’t a student and are 26 and over.
