Hi all,
My husband and I are planning to do the hostel thing. Can someone please let me know if two people can share a private room? How does this work in terms of paying? Obviously, I do not mind sharing a bed with him and we would probably prefer to have our own space. We also do not mind sharing though. How do I go about booking?
Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks! J

Lots of hostels have private rooms. If you look at sites like ours and other hostel booking sites, you will see an option for “double’ bed — this is one bed for two people in a private room. Keep in mind, though, that the price on the booking sites is generally per person, so you will have to double it.
