Hello! I am trying to help my parents find tickets to Europe, and all I can come up with are 1300-1400 USD tickets. I’ve read on this forum that those prices are the norm, but I’m hoping that someone out there might have a great tip for me. I’ve already tried a lot of the great advice provided in this forum.

My parents can fly out of Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Salisbury (MD) and perhaps Norfolk comfortably. If the price is right, I’m sure they wouldn’t mind travelling to Boston, NYC, or even Miami (I know Corsairfly has a hub there). They want to end up in Paris, but can fly into another European city in a stretch. (I’ve tried Lyon, London, Brussels, and Berlin.) They should be in Paris June 26 – July 3, but otherwise their arrival and departure dates are a bit flexible.

Thank you for any help you can offer!

Dulles-Heathrow nonstop $976 total, June 21-July 4 for example, with consolidator Next-best I see is PHL-BRU $1233, or PHL-CDG $1398. In this case, taking London saves over $250 per ticket, gets them on nonstop flights, and with Eurostar, they’d go from central London (St.Pancras Stn.) to central Paris (Gard du Nord) in less than 2.5 hours.
