Ok, so last Monday my C was nice and happy, looking pretty good and only 6 months old.

Then some idiot didn’t bother noticing that I had stopped and did this to my car.

I then had a big dilemma on my hands, my wife is very pregnant and due any day now so we needed a car asap, our other car only has 2 seats, not good for a family. Our insurance company were very sympathetic, they wrote the car off and have arranged an immediate payout.

Yippee I thought new C class here I come, I love them they are the best looking cars that Mercedes currently make, they drive superbly, but bad luck there isn’t a single C220 CDI AMG sportpack stationwagon in Norway, an order will take 3 months, we couldn’t wait that long. Then I turned to the dark side, my local BMW dealer had a 320d Touring with Msport kit on the lot ready for delivery, I looked hot now it looks even better in my garage.

Footnote, no one was hurt in the accident, everyone came out of it without a scratch. I’m hooked on expensive safe cars for life now, safety of my kids is too important.

Hmm… What was the aforementioned ‘idiot’ driving? A snowplow? How come the exhaust pipes got bent downward?
Anyway, congrats on your new baby. And on another new baby. [Smile]

That’s a hot 3 series.  You’re better off with the bimmer anyway, their handling is better & styling more timeless

Not a bad swap.

Re: Hyndai SF totaled… thank Mercedes, actually. M-B pioneered crumple zones to absorb vehicle collisions so they won’t be passed on to passengers—in the form of, for example, jiggling our internal organs so quickly and violently that things like livers tearing in half happen. Most new cars employ this life-saving feature.

(… or was it Volvo?)….

I should’ve stuck with my instincts; it was M-B: www.answers.com/topi…

I’d hope it was Volvo since that’s what I have.

Eat the food, use the wrong verbs, and end up getting charged double.
