Deleting Posts

When deleting posts be sure they are actually deleted. I’ve seen two this morning that say “Deleted: Moved to recycle bin” and the “deleted” post is under this message showing quite clearly.
Eat the food, use the wrong verbs, and end up getting charged double.

I think after a day the system deletes it.

and also, only mods can see the post.

I wondered about that….thanks MIM
I move ‘em to the recycle bin in case mim wants to take a look before they’re gone. Have had a few on flights forum recently.

I don’t think the system deletes it. I swear I’ve seen them hanging around before. Maybe I’m confused from school.

Can you mods see the one I deleted in Favorites?
Seems like sometimes mine go to recycle, sometimes not.
actually, I think you’re right — it doesn’t delete them for a while, but only mods can see posts in the recycle bin. If you’re sure it’s spam, go ahead and delete it altogether, I trust you [

I can only ban the IP that’s registered to the user in our user list, so as long as I know who spammed, I can ban the ip.

MIM — I permanently deleted one on “transit” this morning that you’d left in the recycle bin. Do the links still work if something is in the recycle bin?
Hey Ol,
Sorry it took so long to reply, but I just saw this post.
The posts in the recycle bin can only be seen by the mods and admins, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
