Hej my favourite hostel in Warsaw is Oki Doki- nice, with great design, located in the city center

I second the Oki Doki — awesome hostel!
Regarding Krakow, I can’t vouch for either of these personally, but I have heard good things about both Nathan’s Villa Hostel and Flamingo Hostel. One (or possibly both) are party hostels (although still high quality), so if that’s not what you want, avoid them!
