Don,

This harkens back to this previous post, same subject just closer to time.

We would be flying out BHM/ATL and into ZRH/GVA (or anywhere nearby—including Frankfurt or Stuttgart). I looked at AMS even, usually see low fares there, but the aren’t low enough to justify the drive to and fro Switzerland.

The best I am seeing right now is $1288. I hate too many stops, especially with a little one, but even so I don’t see a dip with additional stops.

Any tips? I have checked the general places (for eurotrippers at least) but this is about as good as I am seeing.

I am leaving from ATL/BHM and traveling for 24 days

I see $1145 to FRA back from STR, one reasonable connection each way, Aug28-Sep23. It’s still outbound late Aug/early Sep? Stay 23-25 days? Outbound early Sep I see some nonstops to FRA for $1157.

Taking Germany out, I see $1232 nonstop ATL-ZRH, Sep1-25.

These are all with ITA. Once you’ve got exact dates and airports, then run them through consolidator searches such as Momondo and Mobissimo.
