Hey, y’all! I’m going to have a month (May 2000) between when I leave work and start grad school, so I thought, "Why not go to Eastern Europe?" Here’s my preliminary itinerary:

Helsinki – 2 days
Tallinn – 2 days
Riga – 2 days
Vilnius – 2 days
Warsaw – 1 day
Krakow – 3 days (including Auschwitz)
Kosice – 2 days
Budapest – 3 days (including a day trip to Eger)
Zagreb – 1 day
Ljubljana – 2 days (my great-grandparents’ hometown)
Prague – 3 days
Cesky Krumlov – 1 day and
Vienna – 3 days

Does this seem too ambitious? Should I cut out the Baltic leg and focus only on Central Europe? Am I missing any definite must-sees? My Russian is rusty — am I going to have severe language troubles, since I’m most likely traveling alone? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated…

Thanks!
