I hope these are just beginners glitches. When I could access the site, it was so much better than here (stickies, moderators, etc.), so I think we just need to be patient now.

I’m sure it just needs to get the bugs worked out of it.

Ok, here’s the deal. It’s all fixed now.

Last night I was installing some “xtreme styles” modifications as well as the aphrodite style which you see now. For some reason, it crashed last night when I did that and I couldn’t bring it up. Tried again first thing in the morning, and worked like a charm. Weird.

So you should all see a nice, clean style sheet up there as well. You can change your user prefs if you want to see with the old style, but I think this one is much nicer.

Kahunna is going to work at re-designing a logo for the front page that fits in the new size, but for now deal with the silly and somewhat ridiculous temp one that is out there

That in itself is not a reason to resist something though. It’s like voting for <insert presidential candidate of choice> just because you don’t like the other candidate. Not a bad thing per se unless the other candidate is actually the best one for you and the country.

Kiwi’s right, all this did was divide us. The ones using the Pub are on Eurotrek, while people asking or giving info on travel are here. I personally never had a problem with this so as to leave the forum or start a new one. Ok, it was bad no one could register anymore, but I see people complaining about profiles not working. Who cares? Not many people write stuff on their profile, and what they do write are mostly lies. It’s not like I’ll be enlightened if I read Jboy’s profile.

Spam was bad, but you choose to ignore those threads. Moderators are absent, but honestly, is it that bad? I apreciate Auher’s and Hope’s intentions and energy put to this, but are we better in Eurotrek? A lot of people chose not to go, we are divided…
