This site is very slow, page loads takes minutes not seconds. It is now even going down from time to time, losing the connection entirely. Is there a database issue? Is anyone looking at this? Thanks.

Yes, site administrators are aware of speed issues. Overhaul of the site is in the works.

I know it is frustrating – believe me I am totally frustrated. And the pace is slow, but we want to make sure we do it the right way and get a great developer.
