Eurovision Song Contest 08

My Eurotrip is locked in for May/June/July 2009, and will incorporate a trip to Eurovision, wherever that may be hosted. So I have a keen interest in this year’s contest to see who bloody wins! (Could completely ruin my current itinierary but hey I have a year to change it)
Has anyone checked out the entrants currently locked in and have a favourite for a winner?
I’ve seen that Ireland have nominated Dustin the Turkey as their entrant…part of me thinks this makes them a dead certanty…part thinks they’ll score next to zero. Where do you think I’ll be heading in May ’09?

Alright it’s the week of the finals, you can’t accuse me of rushing or stressing!
Has anyone been keeping up to date with Eurovision? Favourites you’ve seen? Who do you hope wins? Who do you think will win?
Greece are the real bolters in the last few days with the bookies…Russia are still the favourites…

Looks like Russia won. Eurovision always seems a bit on the cheesy side to me, but this entry, France’s, was kinda funny and the song was okay.
