Hello, Just fishing for the cheapest tickets available: Will leave if I can get something like 700.00 USD.
Leaving: Any day from tommorow
return: Upto 3-6 months stay in London

Normally, I have flown from JFK but now that the transportation RT is 400 USD, I will stick or prefer close to home at Newark.

Cheapest travel agent quote has been 870.00 USD through British Airways.
ITA Software also indicates 878.00 through British Airways.

Avoid:
Zoom Airways: Food really sucks

C’mon sammo—you should be really good at this by now! Where exactly have you checked—in addition to just BA and ITA— (so we do not repeat efforts)? Are you in Tunisia now?

Woh!!!! Don, fantastic memory, and thanks
Yes, I am back to NJ and am working on the same project to finalise and return shortly. I skipped Libya dreading the heat.

Since most of my new travels will be concentrated in Europe and North Africa, I am looking for hints on who is offering the cheapest flight to London and do all my travel bookings from London itself. I am hesitant in going to all the different travel sites and doing the search as I always end up concentrating on the airlines that offers the cheapest.

in other words, I have realised that BA is offering the best now so all my calls and searches is being focused on BA.
I had actually booked something on Friday but the thought of my shower in London freaks me out. This weekend I spent all day at the pool knowing that once I return to london, all my good times are over.

Bottom line, my travel agent and ITA are giving me the same price so I realised that there is no point in checking other websites unless I hear back from you and then of course the other readers.

Believe it or not, even at work, everyone knows your name as I tell them, I will ask Don and get back.
isn’t that funny????

By now, you should really ask Eurotrip to reward you financially as you are now the new Bible of airline industry. I see that Farecompare guy and the Frommers guy all the time in TV now so I should really propose to put you up there,

Keep up the good work, buddy,

Don

Ok, so it costs you $400 to travel from Newark to JFK. Helicopter? Stretch Humvee with jacuzzi?

I see $851 BA according to ITA, with either 3, 4, or 6 month stay. Ran it (June 9-Dec 8) through B’buddy and that’s the cheapest I see.

Its Round Trip.
I used to pay 120.00 one way earlier which also provided free beverages.

For the benefit of readers:
Purchased RT tickets through my Travel Agent to London flying Monday for 650.00 USD+40 USD=690.00 RT
Open for 12 months.
Carrier: Air India
Flying from JFK to LHR.
If anyone is interested to use the travel agent, please leave a message on this forum and I will print the agent on this.

But if you are going to pay cash, then it will be 650.00 through a different travel agent.
I was told that AIR India just dumped these tickets yesterday.

I am not a big fan of AI but I like their non-issue of providing continuous alcohol through out the flight. Its a late evening flight so all one needs to do is have dinner and drinks and go to sleep.

BTW: Don, My old limo guy showed up and he charges only 90.00 USD our corporate rate from NNJ to JFK.
If anyone wants to use him too, feel free to let me know and you have to use our corporate name.
