Currently I have an “outline” of the cities I want to go, however, I want to be flexible. I’ll be in Europe Sept/Oct and was wondering if I am going to have any problems getting accommodations by not making any reservations (other than my first stop in London).

I went through UK and Ireland in early September and didn’t have any problems, you should be fine. I would reccomend booking online maybe a day ahead anyways because it costs less than just walking in on the day of.
