Feria de Jerez - Much more than just an equestrian festival

Technically this is an equestrian calibration, but I saw a lot more than horses. The first thing that you see when you walk up to the Feria is the lights, lights, and more lights. Wow how colorful and bright they were. Soon all of us were in one of the many party tents. This is where everyone smokes, eats, and drinks with a passion. You always had either some food in your hands or a few drinks… and usually it was some of both.

The Feria is a lot different during the day. In the day it is way more family oriented with beautiful horses and parades of people. They also have a fun zone that had all kinds of carnival rides and attractions.

If I could compare it to something in America I would say that it is a combination of Las Vegas, Mardi Gras, and the L.A. County Fair all rolled up into one.
