I am planning a trip this summer to revisit some friends I studied abroad with in Germany, but I have been searching for tickets for weeks. I even spent a lot of time looking into being an air courier. Nothing has worked out. I haven’t found anything reasonable even around 800.

I can fly into literally anywhere in Germany, and my date restrictions are from May 30 to mid July. I would like to spend as much time there as possible. I have all the time in the world, just need a reasonable ticket. I live in VA but I can fly out of anywhere on the east coast practically.

To sum it up:

Anywhere between May 30 and July 15
Into anywhere in Germany preferably Frankfurt
Fly out of anywhere on the east coast preferably D.C.

Thanks for your time

Where have you already checked? Are you a student or under 26?

JFK to FRA coming up $696 total in June, staying about 1 month, on Singapore Airlines.

Thanks,

I am a student and under 26.

I have checked with all the major American airlines, and most of the airlines that fly out of D.C..

So, I haven’t checked in many of the smaller airlines, since I am sure there are tons I haven’t heard of, but that sounds like a pretty good deal.

I also don’t mind flying into another European country if I can catch a cheap flight or try to find a cheap train ticket.

Start here with student agencies, then the others — consolidators, and Bookingbuddy. Use airport code “WAS” to search Dulles, BWI, and National all in one go. VA airport codes: ORF, PHF, RIC, CHO, ROA, SHD, LYH … but WAS and ORF are most likely for cheapest fares.
