French Taxis
Transportation Tip
When getting from the Nice Airport to other places on the Cote d’Azur, DO NOT take a taxi. For 1 Euro you can take a bus all the way to Cannes, Antibes, Biot, Aix en Provence, etc. The buses from the airport usually make their first stop at the just-out-of-walking-distance Nice train station (not the same as Nice Centre-Ville), where you can take a train to Nice Centre-Ville or literally anywhere else in France.
A 30 minute Taxi ride will cost you between 50 and 75 Euro. The same trip on a bus is 1 Euro. It’s much more affordable to plan to take a bus or train wherever you need to go.
Also note that in the South of France, you can’t hail a French taxi, you can only get one at a Taxi stand or by phoning.

Nice info =P
No traveller shoud ever take a taxi from the airport. Most european cities have excellent train connections from the airport into town. Usually faster and much cheaper
